Joyau is a nonprofit organization based in Wisconsin, focusing on the care and well-being of domestic animals. We provide families with food, supplies, and other assistance in hopes of contributing to long, healthy lives for their pets, and keeping them at home. We are committed to transparency and collaboration, and every initiative is constructed to contribute to our efforts of enhancing the quality of life for domestic animals. We believe that people should be able to maintain their families as they are, which includes their pets, so we offer assistance to families as they navigate the normal vicissitudes of life.
Disclosure: Joyau is currently in the process of gaining 501 (c)(3) status. In the meantime, our nonprofit/charitable status can be verified here.

Mission & Values
At Joyau, we believe that charity is the pulse of humanity and it cushions every ebb of life. We are adamant about working to create and retain a path for animals to enjoy long, healthy lives with their families. We aim for a steady decrease in the number of animals being abandoned or surrendered to shelters, as well as the number of animals without routine medical care. We also want to make sure they are consistently active and consuming high quality, healthy foods. At Joyau, we value and respect all familial units, and we want to help people maintain their families with the animals that were brought into their lives. We hope to leave shelters with the ability to maintain normal capacity.
“The question is not ‘Can they reason?’ nor ‘Can they talk?’ but ‘Can they suffer?'” —Jeremy Bentham
